We are now experiencing yet another airbag-related vehicle recall, this time from Toyota.
The company is specifically recalling some 96,000 Corolla Cross cars made in 2022 and 2023 that were marketed in
North America due to a potential problem with passenger-side airbag deployment.
Toyota claims that there isn't a problem with the airbag itself.
Instead, there can be an issue with the dash area that houses the passenger airbag.
A Toyota representative said that a perforation in the panel that opens after airbag deployment may not be present in certain models in an email to Motor1.com.
