Due to continued strong demand, Chevy dealers seem to be having difficulty keeping Corvettes on the lot; as of September 2023, there will only be 23 days' supply of Vettes in stock.
According to Cox Automotive, the supply of Chevy Corvettes is the lowest of any GM vehicles across all four main brands—
Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac—and is significantly less than the 60-day supply that is often regarded as ideal by the automotive industry.
Although the amount of the nameplate available is very limited—slightly more than three weeks' worth—the scenario has been the same since the 2020 model year, when the Chevy Corvette C8 debuted.
In the past, inventories has sometimes been considerably more scarce; for example, in August 2022,
there were just five days' worth of C8 Stingray available.
